Creative activities at the Faculty of Music include a wide variety of activities. Artistic activities are represented by a huge amount of concert performances, Chamber Opera events, realisations of original compositions, renowned festivals such as the International Festival Meetings of new Music Plus, or the Percussion Festival, but also the Leoš Janáček International Competition or International Master Courses in Interpretation.
Research activities are also encouraged and supported by grant competitions with participation of the faculty’s doctoral students. The Faculty of Music organises various conferences to present the research results of our doctoral but also other students – these include the JAMUsica International Conference, the International Doctoral Conference and the Symposium: Arts | Music | Management.
