The online periodical of the JAMU, Faculty of Music in Brno, with the distinctive title „JAMUsica“, is a professional peer-reviewed journal focused on the results of musicological and artistic research.
Its thematic purpose is open, the main goal is to convey current knowledge in defined areas. The specificity of the periodical is the connection of the musicological – scientific level of music research with the level of practical artistic realization, resp. its reflection through so-called Artistic research.
Our aim is for this connection to create a new and specific point of view, expanding the spectrum of knowledge of the phenomenon of music, music culture and art in general.
