The course is implemented by the Department of Historical Performance.
During its existence it has trained a number of experts in this field - soloists, chamber players and teachers.
In the course of its development, it has evolved into a format in which theoretical, practical and applied subjects are included, achieving a form of interrelated content of the individual subjects. Teachers of theoretical subjects thus have an overview of students' artistic projects and are able to apply immediate practical knowledge in theoretical teaching.
By studying at the JAMU Faculty of Music, the graduate receives a broad musical and pedagogical education and is prepared for a half-bit in these professions:
- church organist, choir director
- soloist on his instrument
- leader of small ensembles and choirs
- collaboration with soloists from other disciplines
- chamber musician
- cooperation with local authorities in civic affairs
- teacher at the ZUŠ, private teacher
