The entrance examination takes the form of a recital, where the applicant performs on an instrument. Here, the applicant must demonstrate high level of interpretive skills. This will be judged by a committee appointed and approved by the Dean of the Faculty of Music JAMU. This panel will also assess the applicant’s motivation, knowledge and professional level.

Conditions of the talent examination

The talent examination will last approximately 70 minutes. It will consist of compositions from three different stylistic periods, with at least one composition to be performed from memory. The repertoire will be chosen by the applicant and the admissions committee will assess, among other things, the suitability of this choice.
