Operation of JAMU vs COVID for the period 1.7. – 30.9. 2021

In order to ensure the most optimal conditions for the start of teaching in the next academic year 2021/22, the following regime is intended for access to all JAMU buildings or other premises where students‘ educational or artistic activities will take place between 1 July and 30 September 2021. If you continuously upload vaccination records, we will have a clear documented figure of the percentage of vaccination coverage at the school in the autumn and thus a strong argument against any restrictions.

This school’s operating regime is governed by the Government’s emergency measures regarding the return of individuals to the country from 9 July 2021.

JAMU staff

Access to the above defined premises is only possible upon presentation of a negative RT-PCR or POC antigen test result taken from a health care provider, both no older than 7 days, except for those employees who

  • have „COVID-19 disease“, i.e., have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease, have passed the isolation period, show no symptoms of COVID-19 disease, and no more than 180 days have elapsed since the first positive RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 or POC antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen; or
  • „have been ‚vaccinated‘ against COVID-19, show no symptoms of COVID-19 and document that
    • at least 14 days but not more than 9 months have elapsed since the administration of the second dose of vaccine in the case of a two-dose schedule according to the SPC,
    • at least 14 days but not more than 9 months have elapsed since the administration of the vaccine dose in the case of a single dose schedule according to the SPC.

Please note that from 1 July testing will no longer be provided by the school through regular Monday testing.

The test result, as well as proof of one of the above exemptions, must be recorded in the relevant application in IS – KORONAVIRUS, as this is the only way you will be allowed access to the school buildings.

As of 9.7.2021, according to the updated anti-epidemic measures of the Ministry of Health, employees are obliged to inform the school of their return from abroad if they wish to enter its buildings within 14 calendar days of their arrival and prove a negative test result. The new requirement only applies to those who cannot show proof of complete vaccination against covid-19 or have not had the disease in the last 180 days – see exceptions 1 and 2 above.

JAMU students (including first-year students 2021/22).

Entry to the above-defined areas and thus personal presence at a JAMU educational or artistic production during the above period is possible only if the student does not have symptoms of COVID-19, and also meets at least one of the following conditions:

Submits a negative RT-PCR or POC antigen test result from a health care provider, both no more than 7 days old,

  • has „experienced COVID-19 disease“, i.e., has experienced laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease, the isolation period has elapsed, has no symptoms of COVID-19 disease, and no more than 180 days have elapsed since the first positive RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 or POC antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen; or
  • „has been ‚vaccinated‘ against COVID-19, shows no symptoms of COVID-19 and provides evidence that
    • at least 14 days but not more than 9 months have elapsed since the administration of the second dose of vaccine in the case of a two-dose schedule according to the SPC,
    • at least 14 days but not more than 9 months have elapsed since the administration of the vaccine dose in the case of a single dose schedule according to the SPC.

Please note that from 1 July testing will no longer be provided by the school through regular Monday testing. The exception to this will be the art work of future graduating classes, which will take place in the MARTA Studio and the Theatre on Orlí street during the above period – here PCR testing will be provided by the school.

The result of the test, as well as proof of one of the above exemptions, must be registered in the relevant application in IS – KORONAVIRUS, as only then will you be allowed to enter the school buildings.

From 9.7.2021, according to the updated anti-epidemic measures of the Ministry of Health, students are obliged to inform the school of their return from abroad if they wish to enter the school buildings within 14 calendar days of arrival and prove a negative test result. The new requirement only applies to those who cannot show proof of complete vaccination against covid-19 or have not had the disease in the last 180 days – see exceptions 1 and 2 above.
